Shout-out to the chefs! I walked past and saw the colourful spread, so I decided to give it a try — and their friendly host, Zee, sold the menu and the 50% discount so well . It was worth the money . The seafood was fresh, and everything was cooked just right — not over or under. The mala steamed fish seemed to be everyone’s favourite. I enjoyed the fresh oyster bar and the lobster claws too. This place seems to attract a lot of family gatherings. Do make a reservation for dinner; the large tables were all booked. I did give feedback to Zee about the stale fried papadam, Indonesian bitter gourd crackers, and the dried Chinese fried mantou. The roast beef was also tough and overheated. He took it well. We tried a fresh round of the papadam, bitter gourd crackers, and mantou — and he agreed the mantou was still dry. to Chef Derek, who led the team well. The staff were attentive, and the servers cleared plates quickly. Thank you for the lovely gift. PS Two stars for the atmosphere because the décor and furniture are dated — but the food itself made it a pleasant, simple discovery.

Cafe Mosaic at Carlton Hotel presents a generous spread for a weekday lunch, exceeding expectations for its variety and quality. The cold selection features classic cuts such as smoked salmon, tuna, and ham, alongside fresh poached prawns, mussels, crisp greens, and refreshing fruit salads. The hot stations offer an inviting range—from fluffy steamed buns and hearty chicken curry noodles to succulent roast beef and other well-prepared dishes—ensuring there’s something to please every palate. Service was another highlight. The staff were warm, attentive, and efficient, with empty plates cleared promptly, allowing us to enjoy the meal comfortably. Overall, it was a delightful dining experience that combined variety, quality, and excellent service.

Cafe Mosaic has a good spread of food. The staffs have great service professionalism and good manner. The food are great, especially the snow crab, salmon and tuna.
